The Missions Committee shares a two-fold vision for 2012. First, we desire to bring awareness to the congregation of how our church is involved in kingdom work. Second, we seek to create opportunities for our congregation to participate in meaningful places of service.

Twice a month we will feature a video documentary called “Mission Matters”. These videos will be shown in The Invitation worship service, aired on our 11:00 a.m. television broadcast, and on YouTube. Our hope is that you will carefully and prayerfully view these and be encouraged by what our church is doing.

Our participation in mission and service matters; because as we reach out through Christ, we touch and impact lives. Our service to others is vital to our discipleship and spiritual growth. We tell the stories of these “mission matters” to bring awareness of how God’s kingdom is present among us. We tell the stories to allow people in our church to hear God calling them to participate with their time and talents in these ministries themselves.
