The mission of the agency throughout these programs is to provide a stable, nurturing environment for children who have been abandoned, abused, and/or neglected. A multi-program agency comprised of three separate programs: (1) The Group Home Program houses ten teenage girls ages 12-21. (2) The Independent Living Program for those who have completed high school. (3) Foster Home Program that recruits, licenses, and trains families to care for foster children in their homes.

Each Advent we encourage, individuals, families, classes, and businesses to adopt a child’s Christmas list. Participants shop and pay for their “angel.” This is likely the only gifts the child will receive. Make a child’s wish come true.

BE THE CHURCH
We will have our first annual “Be the Church” April 24, 2010. The entire church will have an opportunity to share Christ in a tangible service to our neighbors. Projects include visiting shut-ins, painting, cleaning and home repairs for people in need, to name a few. A great opportunity for families, Journey Groups, and Sunday School classes to be involved serving others.

HOMEBOUND VISITATION
Laity are important to keeping contact with our homebound members and friends. Visit in homes, retirement, residential, assisted living and nursing facilities. Volunteers are needed to share communion on first Sundays. Follow-up visits after stays in the hospital.
