Youth Ministry Protocols
Phase One
- Small group gatherings only, up to 10 persons
- Installation of hand sanitizing stations throughout the CLC and increase cleaning from weekly to daily
- Teach students social distancing and cleanliness procedures for youth and church wide gatherings
- Schedule small groups to meet on different days or at different locations to limit interaction and allow for adequate sanitization
- Continue with large group worship on Zoom
- Face coverings are required for all.
- No physical games allowed (such as basketball, underground church, frisbee).
- No camps or overnight retreats
- New sanitization procedures and guidelines continue
- Small group gatherings increase to 50. More than one group can meet in the CLC at once
- Separate Junior High and High School Bible Studies resume in person; maximum 50.
- Increase volunteer presence to enforce social distancing guidelines and cleaning
- In Person Sunday School resumes (in agreement with church wide SS activities, up to 20 persons in the CLC)
- Face Coverings are required for all.
- Zoom resources available for students who are uncomfortable with returning in person.
- Physical games with limited contact allowed. Games that include passing an object will be closely monitored and restricted.
- No camps or overnight retreats. Day trips with limited size are allowed.
- Expands upon all Phase Two guidelines; allows for an increase of participants of up to 100, based on FUMC guidelines.
- Increase all activities to usual capacity within the framework of FUMC guidelines.
- No limit of participants but all protocols are continued.
